Veg Crispy Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as capsicum, carrot, onion, and cauliflower), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water, as needed
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Spring onions, chopped, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Vegetables:

    • Thinly slice the vegetables and set aside.
  2. Make the Batter:

    • In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, corn flour, rice flour, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, red chili powder, and salt.
    • Add water gradually to make a thick batter, ensuring there are no lumps.
  3. Coat the Vegetables:

    • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
    • Dip the sliced vegetables into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Fry the Vegetables:

    • Fry the coated vegetables in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Garnish and Serve:

    • Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
    • Serve hot as a snack or appetizer, optionally with a side of sweet chili sauce or ketchup.
