Mutton Kheema with Bread and Sunny Side-Up Egg

Ingredients:

  • 500g mutton kheema (minced mutton)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish
  • Bread slices, toasted, for serving
  • Eggs, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Kheema:

    • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
    • Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
    • Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for another minute.
    • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  2. Add Spices:

    • Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
    • Add the minced mutton (kheema) and mix everything together. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the kheema is cooked through.
  3. Prepare the Eggs:

    • In a separate pan, fry the eggs sunny side-up.
  4. Serve:

    • To serve, place a spoonful of mutton kheema on a plate.
    • Top with a fried egg.
    • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
    • Serve hot with toasted bread slices.
